![]() AVOID! Maybe they'll fix it, but not today. There is some documentation that suggests that OSXFuse was intended as the newest version of MacFuse. Oh and of course, as I mentioned above, you have to RESTART after UNinstalling to clear the FUSE crap out of memory. SSHFS version 2.5 (OSXFUSE SSHFS 2.5.0) FUSE library version: 2.9.9 fuse: no mount point. output from terminal when running 'sshfs -version'. (o_0) Ouch! You have to RESTART a THIRD TIME to clear the chaos. dmg, i removed it, tried installing via brew. Reboot the Mac when installation is finished, you’ll find the Fuse for OS X control panel in System Preferences At this point you can connect EXT file system drives and/or partitions from the Linux world to the Mac and be able to read data from them as expected. WHY do I extremely dislike this monster? It requires TWO RESTARTS to finish installing it, only to discover it has wrecked the system such that several errors are thrown, and several app permissions appear to have been damaged. (3) /Library/Filesystems/strongfuse.fs <-Admin trashable. A partial list of PITA LEFTOVERS: (1) /Library/StatedExtensions/Library/Filesystems/macfuse.fs <-Root permissions required to kill it. I have found a workaround gromgit/fuse has an sshfs-mac formulae that allows for macFUSE. ![]() Tough luck! I've UNINSTALLED it! Fortunately, it comes with an uninstaller app. I think that OSXFUSE is open source but isn't native to Apple Silicon, whereas I think macFUSE is. I installed it because Cryptomator wants to use it. WHY? Because this is by my personal estimation a vastly buggy POS. DO NOT INSTALL unless you really really really need to.
